Excursion 1: The Imperial Rome of Julius Caesar to the City of Popes

The tour starts in Via Veneto, the street made famous by Fellini's 1960 film La Dolce Vita. These days, it draws many tourists charmed by the many open-air cafes that line the sidewalks.

A trip to Rome would not be complete without a visit to the Spanish Steps, the most famous square in the city. Climb its 138 steps and delight in Bernini's Fountain of Barcaccia.

Likewise, throwing coins into the Trevi Fountain is also a must for every visitor. It is said that a visitor is sure to return to Rome if he makes a wish at the fountain, recognized as the biggest and most significant Baroque fountains of Rome.

The tour also stops at the Pantheon, a prime architectural wonder of Ancient Rome. Studied by Michelangelo, it is the burial place of Raffaello and Italian Kings.

The last stop is Navona Square. Once a stadium built by Caesar Domiziano in 92 AD, it is now known as the Square of the Artists and for Bernini's Four River's Fountain.

The tour ends around noontime at the beautiful St. Peter's Square where clients can visit the basilica at their own leisure.

Excursion 2: The Imperial Rome

Visiting the Roman Forum you will re-live the huste and bustle of Ancient Rome and learn how the Eternal City was founded by Romulus in 753 bc. Strolling along the Via Sacra, we will follow in the footsteps of Julius Caesar, Marc Anthony and Nero, descending into the Forum and travelling back in time.
Your tour guide will bring these ancient stones to life for you. Inside the Coliseum you will hear not only information about its architecture and the amphitheatre itself, but entertaining stories of the gladiator games and the imperial politics as well.

Excursion 4: Rome and the famous Fountain

There is no city in the world that has more waters and fountains than Rome. It has been thus since ancient times, when 11 aqueducts supplied thousands and thousands of litres of water to the city each day, feeding the countless fountains and magnificent baths
From Via del Tritone we enter Via della Stamperia, which leads to the Trevi Fountain, certainly the most famous and spectacular fountain in Rome, made even more famous by the night-time wading of Anita Ekberg in Federico Fellini's film La dolce vita.
Piazza di Spagna where, at the foot of the staircase of Trinità dei Monti, the "Spanish Steps", we find the Fontana della Barcaccia.

Excursion 5: The Old Appian Way

By bus and by foot, our guided tour will take you beyond the city walls: through the ancient tunnels of Rome's catacombs, along the rustic Appian Way, and under the arches of the aqueducts of antiquity. Enjoy a three hour tour that provides a unique perspective on ancient Rome, in an environment that you have never seen in the city center.
Our bus will take you from the start of the Appian Way, and continue to the southern edge of ancient Rome. With our tour guide, you will make three stops along the way, giving you an opportunity to walk the ancient Roman countryside, explore the underground catacombs, and examine the masterful structure of Rome's remaining aqueducts.

Excursion 6: Jewish Ghetto and Trastevere

A leisurely stroll through the Jewish Ghetto and Trastevere area, starting from Largo Argentina and the Senate House where Julius Caesar was murdered, then across Tiber Island to Campo de' Fiori, once the site of executions during the Inquisition, today, one of the city's most lively piazzas.
On this tour you will get a chance to see the hidden ancient city below the modern street level, and as Rome was not built in a day, a little bit of every time period in between, from Medieval to Renaissance to Baroque.

Excursion 7: The Basilica Tour

Your guide will show you some of the treasures and mosaics inside the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, built in 356 after the miracle snowfall, which is commemorated every August 5th with a special ceremony.
Continuing on our tour you'll see and the Lateran Palace before visiting the inside of the Holy Staircase steps, which, according to tradition, Jesus climbed in Pontius Pilatus residence and then these steps were moved to the Basilica of San Giovanni, the Cathedral of Rome and the first church ever built in Rome.
To end our basilicas tour we will arrive at St. Paul outside the walls Basilica.
Built on Saint Paul's Tomb, it is the second largest in Rome with its medieval mosaics and its wonderful porticoes.

Excursion 8: Ostia Antica

Ostium "Latin name of Ostia means" mouth of the river reflecting its position along the Tiber river. Situated amongst Mediterranean pine and cypress trees, the ruins of the ancient roman port are better preserved than any other monument in Rome, and in Ostia you can get a good idea of what everyday life must have been like in ancient roman times.
The big difference with many others ancient roman city better preserved than Ostia like Pompei or Leptis Magna is that Ostia was the first area to be colonized by the romans and alive up to the end of the ancient roman empire.
During your tour, your guide will tell you something about the cultural and social life of this interesting commercial settlement. Start at "Via delle Tombe" (road of the tombs) ,the cemetery which leads to the "Porta Romana", one of the city's three gates in direction of Rome. This is the beginning of the "Decumanus Maximus", together with the Cardus Maximus the main thoroughfare that crosses the city from north east to south west.
Then you will arrive at the "Terme di Nettuno" thermal baths so called for the Neptune mosaic decorations, the Theater built by Agrippa still used nowadays then we will see also find the House of Diana so called for its decoration and its balcony next to it the "Thermopolium" an ancient Roman snack bar or fast food with a marble counter and frescos representing fruit and foodstuffs.

Excursion 9: Tivoli

This tour allows you to visit and compare two very splendid villas from two different ages .
The Villa Adriana dating back to the ancient Roman Times and the Villa D'Este from the Renaissance period.
Joining the motorway a 24 that follow the ancient Via Tiburtina after 30 Km east of Rome,we will reach Tivoli. At the foot of the Tiburtini hills, source of the springs that supply the spa town of Bagni di Tivoli and which are dominated by vast quarries of travertine marble, you will stop first to visit the ruins of Villa Adriana which can only hint at the grandeur and beauty of this Villa built by Emperor Hadrian to remind him of the monuments and sites he had admired during his travels around the roman empire.
We continue then to the Villa D'Este, with its frescos is one of the most beautiful residences of the Renaissance built by the cardinal Ippolito D'Este.

Excursion 10: Castelli Romani and wine tasting

This tour is an opportunity to leave the crowd of Rome and immerse yourself in the natural and artistic beauty of the small medieval villages outside Rome called "Castelli" castles because during the medieval time there used to be several castle, now disappeared,belonging to the different noble families always in competition between theme self.
